1. Data Controller
This website (ipernovation.eu) is operated by:
Francesco Rubino
Trading as Ipernovation
Barcelona, Spain
Email: fra.rubino@ipernovation.eu
Francesco Rubino is the Data Controller for all personal data collected through this website, as defined by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
2. Data Collected
This site is designed to minimise data collection. The following categories of data may be processed:
a) Server logs (Netlify hosting)
The website is hosted on Netlify. Like all web servers, Netlify automatically records standard server log data when your browser loads a page. This includes your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and the date/time of your request. These logs are used solely for security, performance monitoring, and abuse prevention. They are not used for advertising or profiling. Netlify's data processing is governed by their Privacy Policy.
b) Analytics (Plausible)
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites or devices. The data collected (page views, referral sources, country, device type) is fully anonymised and cannot be used to identify any individual. No consent banner is required under GDPR for Plausible.
c) Contact form enquiries
If you submit the contact form on this site, the following data is collected: your name, email address, and the message you send. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties, used for marketing, or stored beyond the period needed to handle your request.
d) Fonts (self-hosted)
All fonts used on this site (DM Sans, Syne, Montserrat) are hosted directly on ipernovation.eu. No font files are loaded from Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN, so no data is sent to Google as a result of visiting this site.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
Personal data is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:
- Responding to contact form enquiries — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, performance of a pre-contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Website security and abuse prevention (via server logs) — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Aggregate, anonymised analytics (Plausible) — no personal data is processed; GDPR does not apply to fully anonymised data.
4. Data Retention
- Contact enquiries: email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the enquiry and for any follow-up business relationship, typically no longer than 3 years from last contact.
- Server logs (Netlify): retained according to Netlify's standard policy (typically 30 days for access logs).
- Analytics (Plausible): aggregate, anonymous data with no personal identifiers — retention not applicable.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
Personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. The following processors have limited access to data strictly necessary for the services they provide:
- Netlify, Inc. (hosting) — servers located in the United States with EU Standard Contractual Clauses in place.
- Plausible Analytics OÜ (analytics) — EU-based (Estonia), fully GDPR-compliant, no personal data processed.
Data may be disclosed to competent authorities if required by applicable law.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the data held about you.
- Right to rectification — you may ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — you may ask for your data to be deleted.
- Right to restriction — you may ask for processing to be restricted in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority in your EU member state. In Spain: the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact: fra.rubino@ipernovation.eu. Requests will be responded to within 30 days.
7. Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies. The only
browser storage used is a single localStorage flag
(ipernovation_notice_dismissed) which records whether you have
dismissed the site notice. This stores no personal data and is used solely
for interface preferences.
