How is the EIC Accelerator readiness score calculated?
You answer 23 yes-or-no questions grouped into the three dimensions the EIC evaluates (Excellence, Impact, Implementation) plus interview readiness. Each question you can honestly answer yes adds one point. The total places you in one of four readiness bands, mirroring how an evaluator would assess your proposal before you submit.
Do I need to give my email to use the readiness check?
No. The readiness check is completely free and runs in your browser, with no email required and nothing stored on a server. If you want the full self-scoring checklist as a PDF, or a call to discuss your project, those are optional next steps.
Is a high score a guarantee of EIC Accelerator funding?
No. The EIC Accelerator is highly competitive, with most full applications rejected. A high readiness score means your project has the prerequisites to compete and is worth a serious application. It does not replace a well-written proposal or interview preparation.
