Questions about the finder
How does the EU Grant Finder decide what I qualify for?
It applies the published eligibility rules of each programme to your answers: country of registration, technology readiness level, the amount you need, how much co-funding you can put up, whether you accept equity or debt, and whether you can build a cross-border consortium. Any programme whose rules you fail is moved to a ruled out list with the specific rule you fail, so you know why. Nothing is scored on intention.
Which EU programmes fund 100 percent of costs with no co-funding?
EIC Pathfinder Open and EIC Transition both cover 100 percent of eligible costs. Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Actions are also funded at 100 percent. Women TechEU is a flat equity-free grant of 75,000 euros with no co-funding. By contrast the EIC Accelerator requires you to finance 30 percent of the work packages covered by the grant, Horizon Europe Innovation Actions are funded at 70 percent for profit-making entities, and LIFE typically covers 60 to 70 percent.
Why does the tool rule out programmes instead of just listing matches?
Because a list of programmes you match is not useful if you are not eligible for them. Most wasted applications come from founders who fit a programme on paper but fail one hard rule, most often technology readiness level or co-funding capacity. Seeing the rule you fail, and what would have to change, is worth more than a longer shortlist.
Is the deadline information current?
Every figure and date in the tool was verified on 6 August 2026 against the programme documentation. Calls change, budgets are revised and cut-offs move, so always confirm on the official call document before you commit to a submission. Programmes whose 2026 window has already closed are shown as closed, with the next expected round, rather than hidden.
